Dr Sajad Ansari is a researcher and expert in power electronics, specialising in semiconductor-based power conversion. He earned his PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2023 and is currently a Power Electronics Applications Engineer at Dynex Semiconductor Ltd. His work focuses on advancing power converters using diodes, thyristors, GTOs, MOSFETs, and IGBTs for HVDC, EV, traction, and renewable energy systems. He has published 12 journal and 14 conference papers in IEEE, IET, and Wiley and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK.
