Dr. Stefan Hain studied Physics at the University of Bayreuth. His main focus was quantum mechanics and semiconductor physics After his graduation in 2011, he started working on his PhD thesis in the field of “modern power semiconductor devices” at the University of Bayreuth, which was finalized in 2018 In 2018, Dr. Stefan Hain join ZF Group, starting as a technical lead and team lead for power module and semiconductor development. From 2022-Feb 2025 he was heading the department for power semiconductor development at ZF Group. In March 2025, Stefan Hain joined onsemi as a Senior Director, heading and building up the new division of Power Electronic Systems.
